Void Walker was the hardest track on this EP to write lyrics for, the main basis of the song was written in 2016 with my good friend Jack Duffy, but I could never find the right project to release the track through. Once I joined Entropy, it was almost a perfect fit and the track finally had a home. Going back to the difficulty in writing lyrics for the track, it was just one of those songs I'd been sitting on for ages and didn't know where to go with it. It ended up becoming an amalgamation of loads of different personal anecdotes. References to my time in therapy, highschool, depression, regret and even a reference to the EP/band that inspired the main riff to this track! Much like Sentenced to Ash, the song ends on empowerment and becoming the best version of yourself. Anyone who is struggling with regret, grief, depression and just anything that's bringing you down, it's very important to know that it is only temporary and you will come out on top.

lyrics
An empty earth will be the way we start this riddled prophecy
Years ago this structure was made but now it is here to embed your fucking minds
Will I ever see past the gates I am trapped in the past I can’t let go
Memories of a better time I cannot find any place for happiness now
I expressed myself many times before in the - contentions of a falling sun
Let me be free
An empty earth will be the way we start this riddled prophecy
Years ago this structure was made but now it is here to embed your fucking minds
Father help me
Mother I suffer
Slowly dying
Send me home
I will never see the light again my head clouds with darkness to its bitter end
Will I ever see past the gates I am trapped in the past I can’t let go
Memories of a better time I cannot find any place for happiness now
I expressed myself many times before in the contentions of a falling sun
Let me be free
Mental pain released through serenity
I can still hear the clock ticking in her room
DROP
I need to restate my confidence
I will never fall again
I need to restate my confidence
I will never fall again
I laugh as the fucking gods fear me now I’ve become the thing I wanted
Exorcised through the power of this hell Satan’s acceptance fuels my mind
I trudged through the depths of my own mind relinquishing the final pain
I am finally free
I’M THE VOID WALKER

I had an itch for some good abrasive sounding deathcore and this EP delivers. Great sounds from these guys and hopefully a full length is to follow soon. Australia just knows how to do deathcore the best! Christopher Ancarrow
Boy, they came a long way since their debut. Not that Disrepair wasn't any good or so, on the contrary. You'll understand what I mean, if you listen to both. In Extremis is a legit beast in every regard and clearly shows where Bereavement comes from. Awesome uptempo brutality with massive groove and fierce vocals. mourner
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
One of the best deathcore releases ever, each song is great and unique with an interesting story attached to them. Every track from these guys is impressive and mind blowing. tpalm66
