Doomtown is a little horror story I decided to write about the worst place on Earth. As a huge fan of the genre, it was obvious that it would slip into my lyric writing at some stage haha. No deep meaning to this one, just a woman doing everything she can to keep her baby alive! Heavily inspired by the French horror movie "Inside" that has a similar plot!

Welcome to Doomtown, where existence is dread, illuminate the sky to see the millions
lying dead
Women and children are left to rot, the weak will not survive and neither will God
Try to pray your sins away but just expect to fucking pay, they’ll cremate your soul
If you try to hide or run you’ll be greeted by the tyrant’s son, the true form of evil

HELL

She has awoke, to find these chains, shackled to her, and, the rotting corpse of, her cell
mate disintegrating
She hears a scream, straight from above, calling for help, the, abortionist is, here for her
Before she gets time, to find a key, or a way out, her, water breaks, the baby’s now
delivering
The immense pain, she cannot hold, the foot-steps are close, she tries to scream, the,
tyrant’s here

“I WANT YOUR UNBORN CHILD”
“YOUR PLACENTA SERVED WITH WINE”
She bellows in agony
And screams to him
“FUCK YOU”

Pain, suffering, loss, grief

“He opens the gate with pale eyes, unlocks the shackles, she steals his blade and runs”

She tries to get far away
But the tyrant’s here to end this game
She hides behind darkened corners
She stole his knife prepare for slaughter

From the shadows, she jumps out to kill
Throat is slit, the tyrant bleeds
But the fun, isn’t over yet
The child’s stillborn, her face seethes with regret

Ingesting, every part of him
She becomes, something so morbid
Embodying, every part of him
She leaves Doomtown, as the new tyrant
